Creek Road Cemetery.......

These photo's were taken at a cemetery on Creek Road in the Hamlet of Perry's Mills of Champlain, NY. The cemetery itself is taken care of by neighbors or the town however off to the sides and back of this little cemetery I found these stones discarded. Many of these stones have names on them and it saddens me that for whatever reason they were discarded like trash on the banks on the Great Chazy River.

My question is, where do these stones belong? Who were these people and why has their memory been forgotten? It is a shame that these stones are in such disarray and whomever owns this plot needs to come figure out where these stones belong and replace them.
